The Role
Reporting to the CEO, this is a senior field-based sales and leadership role. You’ll be out on farm, building trusted relationships, growing your network, leading a small team of regionally based Territory Managers, and driving commercial outcomes. You will:

  • Develop and grow a high-performing farmer network
  • Lead, coach and support a team of 3 Territory Managers across New Zealand
  • Lead ram sales and close opportunities
  • Partner closely with farmers to optimise breeding and production systems
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive supply into a premium global brand
  • Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and consistent delivery across the team
  • Represent Headwaters at sales events, field days, and industry forums This role suits someone who thrives on being in front of clients – not behind a desk – and who can manage their time, back themselves, and deliver results.

What You Bring

  • Experience within the agri sector
  • Respected leadership experience
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on outcomes
  • Self-starter who manages their own territory and time effectively
  • Confident communicator who can translate technical insight into real-world value.
