Our client is seeking a capable and detail-focused contractor to support a large-scale property and lease transition project. This is a part-time opportunity based in the Christchurch CBD, offering approximately 20 hours per week for roughly 3-4 months, starting ASAP.
This role will support the transfer and consolidation of approximately 170 lease agreements as part of a wider property streamlining initiative. Working closely with internal stakeholders, landlords, and external legal providers, you will help coordinate documentation, communications, and lease-related administration.
This role would suit someone with a legal executive, legal secretary, or property administration background who is comfortable working with legal documentation and understanding lease clauses and terminology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating lease and property documentation
- Liaising with landlords and external legal providers
- Reviewing and managing lease-related information
- Supporting the transfer and consolidation process
- Maintaining accurate records and project administration
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a legal, property, or lease administration environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence working with legal documentation and terminology
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
The role is ideally office-based in the Christchurch CBD, with flexibility around how the 20 hours are worked across the week.
