Lead the commercial growth of a company redefining global maritime intelligence and playing a pivotal role in scaling a high growth, mission driven technology business tackling some of the world’s most complex ocean security challenges.
  
While Starboard Maritime Intelligence are headquartered in Wellington, this role could be based remotely in New Zealand, Australia, the USA or UK.

Its SaaS platform processes over 4000 vessel positions per second, delivering real time intelligence to governments, defence agencies and organisations working to safeguard global trade routes, combat illegal fishing and protect critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the CEO, you will own and deliver Starboard’s global commercial growth strategy, building a scalable, predictable revenue engine across Asia-Pacific, United States, United Kingdom and allied markets. You will lead the acquisition and expansion of high value enterprise and government customers. You will establish structured account strategies, implement repeatable sales systems and align sales and marketing through enterprise focused approaches. You will also play a critical role in strengthening Starboard’s presence and credibility across the United States and Five Eyes (FVEY) markets by engaging senior stakeholders, partners and defence ecosystems. As a key member of the executive team, you will represent the company externally while reinforcing confidence in the consistency and scalability of revenue growth.
  
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record of scaling revenue within complex markets. You will have led geographically dispersed teams and established structured, repeatable sales systems that deliver consistent, high-quality performance. Comfortable operating at both strategic and ‘hands on’ levels, you are equally adept at executing in the detail while laying the foundations for long term growth. Your background will likely include managing a mix of short cycle enterprise opportunities and longer, relationship driven procurement processes, ideally within defence, ISR, geospatial or infrastructure monitoring environments. With strong commercial capability and executive presence, you operate with credibility at senior levels, engaging effectively with key stakeholders, partners and advisors. You will be someone who thrives in high growth environments, bringing energy, ownership and accountability in delivering meaningful impact on the global stage.
