We are now inviting expressions of interest from experienced professionals to join MainPower’s Board of Directors. This is a unique opportunity for two suitably experienced Directors to serve the communities of Waimakariri, Hurunui and Kaikōura, through contributing your expertise to a dynamic and forward thinking organisation.
To thrive in this role, you will be a strategic thinker and an engaged contributor at the Board table with a strong understanding of governance best practice and a genuine passion for MainPower’s vision and direction.
We are seeking candidates who bring diverse skills and experience, with a preference for those with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Strategic financing experience including large asset modelling and business case analysis
- Electricity or EDB industry experience
- HSE operational experience
- Previous governance experience
Candidates who also bring a strong local connectivity will be highly regarded, however candidates outside the district with strong skills and passion will be welcomed.
