About the Role
Port Marlborough is seeking a Port Services Manager to lead our frontline port services team in Picton, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations across a diverse and vibrant port environment. A newly created role, your key responsibilities include overseeing port security functions such as CCTV monitoring, ID checks, and regulatory compliance, managing Picton Harbour Radio operations, and delivering exceptional customer service to port users and stakeholders. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams and external agencies including Customs, MPI, and Police, and play a critical role in emergency response planning and incident
About you
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) certification or equivalent, and bring proven experience in port, maritime, or security operations. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of maritime regulations and risk management. You should be comfortable using digital systems and security platforms.
