The Role
We are seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to deliver mathematics programmes on a two year fixed term contract. The successful applicant will bring expertise in NCEA, alongside the creativity and enthusiasm to design learning experiences that extend well beyond the classroom.
  
Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching NCEA Level 2 and 3 (Statistics, Algebra and Calculus)
  • Championing AI integration and innovative teaching practice
  • Experience with digital technologies and possible ability to teach this curriculum
  • Designing engaging and personalised learning programmes that connect with students’ strengths and interests
  • Inspiring students to achieve at the highest levels in small, focused class settings
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and its collaborative culture

  Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • New Zealand teacher registration (or ability to gain registration)
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics NCEA at senior levels
  • Strong capability in innovative pedagogy, the use of AI and digital tools
  • A passion for personalised learning and engaging students in meaningful ways
