Key Responsibilities
Based in Christchurch and reporting to the CFO, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping business performance through clear, accurate, and timely financial insight. You will deliver management accounts and financial reporting that directly support decision-making across the organisation. Monitoring costs, margins, and key operational financial drivers, you will provide robust forecasting, ensure accounting compliance, and make recommendations that enhance both operational and financial outcomes. This role requires a strong combination of analytical expertise, commercial understanding, and hands-on delivery, enabling you to influence business performance and contribute to sustained growth.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in financial management, business partnering, and operational analysis. You will have a strong track record in delivering accurate management accounts, monitoring key financial drivers, and providing actionable recommendations that support decision-making and business performance.
Experienced in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis, you will be confident in communicating financial information to operational teams and leadership. Your commercial acumen, analytical skills, and collaborative approach will enable you to build strong working relationships across the organisation, influencing outcomes and driving improvement. Strategic in outlook yet hands-on in delivery, you will bring a solutions-focused mindset and the ability to translate financial insight and reporting into practical business impact. Ideally your will have a formal qualification in accounting and exposure to an operational environment.
