Key Responsibilities
Based in Christchurch and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this is an exciting opportunity to deliver real impact by driving operational and commercial insights while helping optimise critical systems and processes. As Financial and Commercial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the branch network, acting as a super user for the ERP system, ensuring data integrity through effective utilisation of existing resources.
You will provide the business with accurate analysis, actionable insights, and practical solutions that enhance performance driving system optimisation initiatives that ensure branches are equipped with the tools and information they need. This role requires both analytical expertise and hands-on problem-solving, with a strong focus on collaboration, clarity, and adding measurable value across the business.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong background in operational and commercial analysis, with proven experience turning data into clear insights that inform decision-making. You will have a track record of working with ERP systems, including analysing data, optimising reporting, and improving the quality of financial and operational information. Your experience will include developing business cases and delivering analysis that supports both operational and strategic priorities ideally in a operational environment.
You will be adept at working across branch networks and senior leadership, with the ability to communicate insights in a clear and understandable manner. Strategic in outlook yet hands-on in delivery, you will draw on strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and collaborative experience to drive improvements in efficiency and growth.
