About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, a great opportunity has become available for a proactive, enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their Nelson-based team. The focus of this role is to ensure smooth and efficient management of customer service, from order processing to delivering exceptional service to valued clients.
In this dynamic and fast paced role, your key responsibilities include:
- Processing sales orders, deliveries, and invoices, ensuring on-time and complete deliveries (DIFOT).
- Maintaining proof of deliveries, managing inventory, and liaising with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies.
- Handling customer inquiries, processing credit requests, and making pricing adjustments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Working closely with the NZ Sales Managers to support monthly/seasonal pricing processes.
- Providing reporting and data analysis on product performance, customer mix, sales forecasts, and initiatives.
- Managing forward and back orders, inventory protection returns, and ensuring accurate pricing.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a busy customer service role with a strong sales support component.
- Ideally, some experience in supply chain/logistics, and an affinity for the primary or rural sector.
- Strong verbal communication and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work autonomously or within a team.
- Attention to detail, accuracy with numbers, and the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Skilled at building positive and productive relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
