We are seeking a motivated and skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Nelson. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide range of production processes and contribute to the development of premium wood products.
What you’ll be doing:
- Evaluate, troubleshoot and improve production processes across the site to enhance efficiency and reduce variability
- Support production settings and raw material optimization
- Participate in research and development of new products and processes
- Design and supervise production trials and laboratory investigations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Participate in maintenance of management systems and certifications
- Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture
What we’re looking for:
- A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with PLCs and process control systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
