The opportunity
We are seeking a Head of People & Culture to join NBS to lead the development and execution of their people strategy. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their workforce and organisational culture. This senior leadership position will ensure that NBS has the right capabilities, structure, and culture to achieve its strategic goals while fostering a positive, engaged, and productive workforce.

This is a role with real impact. You’ll take full ownership of creating the people strategy and translating this into practical frameworks across workforce planning, performance and reward, learning and development, leadership capability, and wellbeing. Through this work, you’ll ensure that NBS has the capability, culture, and systems it needs to grow sustainably and continue delivering exceptional outcomes for members and communities.

Leading the execution of this strategy, you’ll work closely with NBS leaders and your team to embed best practice across the employee lifecycle. From succession planning and talent acquisition to health, safety and wellbeing, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that people-related initiatives are future-focused, well-governed, and aligned with both compliance requirements and cultural ambitions.

What you’ll bring to the role
Bringing senior-level HR experience and a strong track record of people strategy development and execution, you will apply contemporary people practices to address complex workforce challenges. Success in this role will rely on your ability to influence, collaborate and lead.

A relevant qualification in HR, coupled with a commitment to continuous professional development, is essential. You will have a sound understanding of employment law, performance management, and organisational design, with the confidence and communication skills required to lead and inspire across all levels of the organisation.

If you are ready to bring your expertise to a transformative organisation and help NBS build a stronger future, apply today.
