This role works as part of a professional team, supervising and performing day to day structural engineering design and supervision responsibilities, providing quality advice and checking of other engineers and consultants’ designs, as well as adopting best in-house design standards and engineering practices.Your Skills and ExperienceTo succeed in this role you will be have an Engineering (Civil) Degree and professional structural engineering experience, preferably within the New Zealand environment. Ideally you will have previous experience in managing a team of engineering and draughting staff and experience in design with steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures. Key to this role will be the ability to engage with others, to build and maintain relationships and to rely on your excellent and natural interpersonal skills. You will enjoy working collaboratively and contributing within the team on projects with a positive and proactive attitude and enjoy customer interactions. The Role
