Proven strategic and tactical success in an Operational Management role including experience setting and achieving Operational KPI’s, creating CAPEX business cases, and reporting and presenting results will be critical to success in this role. The RoleBased in Christchurch and reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the day to day regional operations to ensure customer expectations are met and fuel is transported to rural customers in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. This role involves extensive and regular driving throughout the South Island, away several days and nights a week, with 90% of your time out in the field with Drivers, Customers, Regional Sales Manager and Account Managers. Consistently delivering a market leading service, you will create and deliver a high-performance culture through planning and execution of resources, managing productive stakeholder relationships, and maintaining industry compliance standards across the fleet.Previous experience in the Fuel industry, Driving, Scheduling or Transport Industry sector would be advantageous.
