BDO is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their expanding Agri Team. This role will be responsible for supporting South Island farmers to achieve sustainable business growth by delivering expertise and individually tailored accounting solutions. This is a relationship based role with a strong practical element, including on farm client visits and cross functional collaboration with the wider BDO advisory team.
To be successful you will have a genuine affinity with the rural sector and proven experience working closely with agricultural and/or horticultural clients. You will be technically strong and highly organised with an eye for detail. The ability to effectively interact with both clients and colleagues is essential. You will be CA qualified with a relevant tertiary accounting background.
The advantage of flexible working options makes this role attractive. Part time and full time hours will be considered and the ability to work from the office and/or home is up for discussion.
