Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the Manufacturing department, including the management of performance, processes and 50 people. This key role will ensure production is well managed across capability, targets, quality and timeframes. This is a senior level role requiring an experienced hands-on practitioner. Contributing towards a world class facility, forward planning, and the ability to build a culture of improvement will be required. This role also requires the ability to balance manufacturing knowledge, best practice theory and practical experience to build strong production capability to achieve the required goals. This is a fixed term role (12 months contract) and is required to start as soon as possible.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role it is likely you will be tertiary qualified with a production management related qualification. You will have a high level of manufacturing sector knowledge and a good understanding of engineering requirements. You will also have problem solving skills, and the ability to positively influence and collaborate with colleagues. You will be organised, structured, and you will be able to effectively communicate across the business functions and have a results’ orientated commercial awareness.
