Reporting to the General Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for providing input into the vision and strategy of key products, defining and managing product releases and aligning key teams within the business. You will encourage, develop and curate innovative ideas that will add value to our customers. You will also have ownership of the product roadmap and will work closely with the engineers on technical specifications and ensure that teams have all the information they need to deliver a complete product to market. Achieving business objectives by keeping work on track, analysing performance and reporting on progress is critical to this role. This role will involve up to 30 days international travel per year.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this newly created role, you will have a tertiary marketing qualification, with a minimum of two years in a similar role. An additional technical qualification and/or experience with electrical products is beneficial. You will be innovative and creative with a continuous improvement focus, results focused ‘can do’ attitude and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Key to your success will be your customer centric approach and strong relationship building skills along with your ability to have a structured and disciplined approach to planning.
