Reporting to the Managing Director this key ‘hands on’ leadership role will be responsible for managing the storage and processing plants in Nelson, Winton and Rolleston, ensuring products are of the highest standard through effective commercial management, team leadership and oversight of production and delivery. You will provide leadership at all levels, implement and manage company strategies and methods to ensure the performance, productivity, quality, efficiency and profitability of the operations in delivering top quality products to the market.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role you will have successfully led a manufacturing or production operation and will likely have a relevant tertiary or trade qualification. You will have commercial experience as well as operational planning and improvement experience, and some affinity with rural, horticultural or agricultural sectors. You will be an effective communicator and contributor who naturally builds a positive team culture and engagement and is results focused. You will inspire others, demonstrate drive, and enjoy exceeding customer expectations.
