Due to sustained growth, P & F Global is seeking an experienced Freight Coordinator to ensure orders are dispatched and delivered on time ensuring satisfied customers. Reporting to the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, your key responsibilities will include the booking and tracking of freight within New Zealand. Additionally, you will build the provider network and negotiate freight deals resulting in favourable delivery terms. You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to logistics and grow the role.
This is a newly created permanent position, with the hours anticipated to be between 30 – 40 hours a week, this will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Your Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of the transport industry
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong internal and external customer focus
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Great communication and relationship building skills
