Reporting to the Australasian HR Manager (based in Melbourne) you will work closely with the three New Zealand based General Managers with operations in Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland. You will provide operational and strategic HR advice to the leadership team with responsibility for key areas including employee relations, recruitment, talent management, workforce planning and learning and development. You will proactively support the New Zealand leadership team by improving and implementing people processes and supporting all stages of the employment lifecycle. This role will require regular travel to support the businesses.

Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have broad HR generalist skills, enjoy being hands on and visible within the business while having the confidence to work autonomously. An ability to think strategically yet deliver operationally is key to this role. You will have a strong working knowledge of NZ employment legislation, recruitment and on onboarding with experience in employee/industrial relations. A passion for building a positive culture along with exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills will be critical to your success. Experience within the manufacturing industry is desirable but not essential.
