The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead all aspects of environmental services, including district planning, building control, public and environmental health, and related regulation and compliance. You will directly contribute to organisational strategy and the delivery of its annual plan, develop and manage related budgets, and take a leading role in the development and delivery of a Combined District Plan for the region.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role you will need to be a strategic thinker with proven leadership experience, outcome and commercially driven with an innovative streak. Exposure to the local government environment, excellent communication skills and commitment to outstanding service delivery are essential to succeed in this role, as is your ability to effectively engage with your team, Council and community.
