Our client is a leading rural insurer who provides risk management and insurance solutions. They have built a solid reputation for providing tailor made insurance solutions in the rural sector, whilst also offering lifestyle, business, personal, and household insurances.
Our client is seeking two Area Managers to provide leadership and coaching to high performing sales teams to ensure continued success. Based in either Invercargill or Timaru, you will be responsible for providing operational leadership to the sales team and motivating them towards achieving local and national targets. You will also have responsibility for leading and identifying business growth and profitability strategies, providing on-going coaching to the dedicated sales team, and demonstrating company values when liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in order to maintain strong professional relationships.
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role you will have proven experience leading and coaching a successful sales team, experience in building and maintaining meaningful relationships, strong commercial acumen and an ability to promote and drive a highly engaged, values driven culture. We’re looking for someone who can provide strong leadership to a high performing team and cultivate our client’s business plan and growth strategies.
Past experience in financial services, insurance and/or an affinity to the rural sector would be advantageous.
