The Role
Based in Christchurch and reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for providing the Carter Group office with a range of financial processing and general administration support. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate delivery of the accounts payable function, including processing supplier invoices, monitoring the approval function, and processing payments within agreed timeframes. You will also be responsible for the timely management of the accounts receivable function, including the calculation and processing of invoices and credit notes. Delivering daily financial responsibilities such as the daily banking sheet, bank transfers and reconciliations is also a key part of this role.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate a strong passion for finance and the work that Carter Group do. You will have a track record in building strong internal relationships across all levels of an organisation, you will be capable of acting as a trusted financial team member, confident with self-managing your workload and following the required financial processes.
