About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the role holds accountability for sales growth, service delivery, team performance, compliance and cost control across both regional markets. You will be responsible for the day-to-day sales leadership and operational performance of GMD, ensuring the business sustains its position as the dominant gaming machine dealer and service provider across the South Island and Central North Island.
With people at the core of this role, you will lead a widely dispersed, multi-site sales and service team, building capable site leaders, setting clear standards and maintaining regular visibility across both islands. You will balance the strength of the global IGT brand with a genuinely local, relationship-led approach to clubs, hotels and taverns, hold senior relationships with Charitable Societies, IGT and the Department of Internal Affairs, and lead compliance and health and safety across the workshop, field and vehicle operations.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role you will have a combination of the following skills:
- Demonstrated success growing sales and service revenue in a competitive market
- Proven track record as a commercially astute, operationally grounded leader in a comparable multi-site sales and field service business
- Experienced leader of dispersed teams, confident managing performance at a distance and building trust with customers and stakeholders
- Experience in the hospitality, gaming, amusement or vending sectors would be advantageous, along with familiarity with the Gambling Act 2003 and operating within a dealer network for a global equipment brand
To succeed in this role you will be a sales-driven, results focused leader who enjoys autonomy across a widely dispersed footprint, and who is motivated by driving revenue growth for an established industry leader.
