About the role
Reporting to the Country Manager Australia & NZ, you’ll take full ownership of project delivery across New Zealand, leading the Project Managers and delivery teams on the ground and working closely with support functions across commercial, procurement and HSE. You’ll be the senior point of accountability for delivery outcomes, while also building a strong, positive team culture across the business.
This role requires a balance of hands-on operational leadership and strong commercial oversight.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven senior leadership experience within complex EPC, infrastructure, utilities, construction or renewable energy environments, with a focus on delivering safely, within budget and to agreed quality standards
- Significant experience in senior project or regional management roles, ideally including P&L or regional financial accountability
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding, with a track record of managing budgets, margins and risk on complex projects
- Proven leadership of multi-project delivery teams, including Project Managers and delivery teams, across dispersed sites
- Sound knowledge of the New Zealand regulatory, consenting and construction environment
- The credibility and presence to represent the business confidently with clients and stakeholders, matched with a genuine, personable style
- Experience in solar, BESS or grid infrastructure projects is an advantage, but not required
This role will particularly suit an experienced infrastructure or energy professionals as well as senior candidates from electrical contracting, lines, or utility-scale construction backgrounds looking for their next step.
