An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production/Logistics Supervisor to join the team in a senior leadership role overseeing the full manufacturing and logistics process.
About the Role
Based at the Solander site in Richmond this is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee daily production operations, support a team and ensure products are processed, packed and delivered to exacting quality and export standards. Working closely across production, logistics and supply chain, you will help drive efficiency, maintain compliance and support the smooth flow of product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily production operations to meet customer demand and commercial targets
- Oversee quality, food safety and compliance with HACCP, Food Act and health and safety requirements
- Coordinate export raw material shipments and imported finished products
- Support supply chain planning, inventory flow and production scheduling
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, team performance and plant operations
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a pragmatic and proactive production leader who enjoys being close to the operation and leading from the front. You will bring:
- Experience in food production, seafood processing or a similar manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership capability and a collaborative, team-focused approach
- A practical mindset with sound problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of production planning, logistics and compliance requirements
- Resilience, adaptability and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Relevant qualifications in food technology, manufacturing or supply chain would be valued, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
