The Role
This role sits within our audit team and focuses on supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of audit engagements.
You will work closely with Audit Partners and the Audit Manager to complete audits from planning through to completion, including preparing working papers, coordinating client information, and ensuring deadlines are met.
The role involves regular client interaction, managing workflow across engagements, and identifying risks or issues as they arise. You’ll also contribute to a collaborative team environment and support more junior team members where required.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a chartered accounting environment with a focus on audit. You’ll have a strong understanding of audit processes, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance standards. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to effectively engage with clients and colleagues, particularly when addressing audit queries and explaining findings.
You will be someone who stays up to date with changes in audit regulations, legislation, and accounting standards, taking a methodical, detail-focused approach to your work. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys owning audit projects, building client relationships, and enhancing their audit expertise, while also expanding their broader technical skills in a supportive, forward-thinking firm.
