The Role
Located in Milton, Otago (30 – 40 minutes from Dunedin) and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for shaping and enabling the Group’s digital and technology capability to support business strategy, operational effectiveness and growth.
This role spans both day to day technology operations and infrastructure, while maintaining a clear, forward looking view of how digital, data and emerging technologies can improve performance and unlock new opportunities for the Group.
Acting as a critical bridge between technology and the business, you will translate complex technical concepts into clear, commercial outcomes, ensuring technology investments are well governed, value driven and aligned to the Group’s evolving needs. The role is as much about people, influence and clarity as it is about systems.
You will lead a multi-disciplinary team including IT management, software development and systems administration, with scope to shape capability as the business continues to mature.

About You
Operating within an entrepreneurial, growth orientated environment, you will be comfortable navigating, evolving priorities and will have a bias towards pragmatic decision making and implementation.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstratable experience leading technology, digital or systems functions in complex environments. You will have strong commercial acumen and the ability to prioritise initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
Your experience and ability to communicate and build trust across diverse stakeholder groups, will assist you to succeed in this key role.
