The Role
This Christchurch-based position offers room to grow. It’s ideal for someone starting their marketing career or for a marketer with a few years’ experience looking to step up. You’ll begin by supporting day-to-day delivery – content scheduling and some creation, social publishing, website, EDM, and event coordination – and as you demonstrate capability, you’ll take on more planning and strategic ownership.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to create marketing moments across channels, develop marketing materials, and keep the content calendar on track and aligned with business strategy.

Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have a qualification or some experience in a marketing role, together with a strong interest in scaling your marketing career. Your attitude matters most. Our client is looking for someone who is proactive and curious – whether that means you’ve delivered in a previous role or shown initiative by building skills on your own. You will be organised, detail-oriented, and have a good understanding of social media platforms. Strong communication skills are essential, and demonstrated experience with ai and CRM tools (they use HubSpot) would be an advantage.
