About the role
Reporting to the Partners, the General Manager will play a key role in helping the firm achieve its strategic goals while keeping the day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will lead finance, HR, technology, marketing and compliance, enabling the Partners to focus on client delivery. You will also mentor the Practice Manager, helping to strengthen systems, people and performance across the firm.
We are looking for someone who brings both commercial know how and a practical, ‘hands on’ approach. You will be comfortable driving innovation to improve productivity and outcomes for clients. Most importantly, you will be someone who values people, building capability, fostering a high trust culture and creating an environment where the team can do their best work.

What you will bring to the role:
• Demonstrable experience in a General Manager, COO, Practice Manager or senior operations role within a professional services environment
• Proven ability to manage and interpret financial performance, with strong business and commercial acumen
• A confident people leader, you will be known for inspiring and empowering teams to deliver high quality work in a values led culture
• An innovative mindset, you will be comfortable leading initiatives that enhance productivity, client experience and business insight
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and Partners in a busy, down-to-earth environment
• Energy, resilience and a balance of strategic thinking with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
