Core Accountabilities
Port Nelson is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the Senior Management Team. This is a pivotal role for a strategic thinker who thrives on driving business performance, shaping financial direction, and delivering long-term value.
As CFO, you will be a key partner to the CEO and Senior Management Team, leading financial strategy, governance, and risk management across the Port Nelson Group. You’ll bring a strong commercial lens to decision-making, champion profit enhancement, and lead our commercial property business unit. Your insights will influence strategic direction and support sustainable growth across the organisation.
We’re looking for a CFO who is not only technically excellent but also a strategic leader with a bias for action, innovation, and collaboration. You’ll be a thought partner across the business, guiding financial and commercial decisions that drive regional prosperity.
Key attributes we’re seeking
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role (CFO or equivalent)
- CA qualified with a strategic approach to financial management
